I have created a sedlog that extends over two pages but when I export it, only the first page appears with the bottom cut off. "Fit Page" changes the display on the screen but not the export image.
I have macOS Big Sur, i downloaded sedlog and the latest version of java but it doesn't work. The sed log initial screen appears and then closes immediately.

I have macOS Ventura, same problem, initial screen shows up and dissapears.
SedLog requires Java to run. Make sure you have installed Java before you try to install or run the program.
Download SedLog Click here to download a Windows installer Then install SedLog by double-clicking the exe file. Make sure you have full administrative privileges.
And if you have Mac Click here to download everything in a zip file This will download the zip file to your downloads folder.
Unzip the folder and copy it to a folder of your choice (e.g. the Applications folder, the Desktop
or simply leave it in downloads if you wish).
Double-click on the SedLog.jar file. This will likely give you a warning message, saying that Apple only wishes you to run programs downloaded from the AppStore. Click OK to discard this message.
Double-click on the SedLog.jar file again. This will give you another warning message similar to the last time, but just click ok (or whichever option says to trust opening this particular .jar file). SedLog should run fine after this point.
I have created a sedimentary profile using SedLog. The exported file is extremely long, 7 pages! It is a 39.5 m high profile. How can I make this profile only one page (not 7) so that it can be useful in a thesis and/or published paper?

The application has a button from where you can set various fit to page modes. As you can see in the image below, after you click that button, the content on the page will be arrange to fit based on the available options.
I work for a private environmental consulting firm and we are looking for a more efficient way to reproduce our soil logs (rather than using Excel, which can be a tedious task). I just wanted to know if we could use this at our company for our clients, or is there a restriction on using this? I used the program for a sed-strat class for my geology program, and am intrigued that you can change lithology type (to fit USCS) and modify the template look (to match regulation standards hopefully).

Yes, you can use the application for consulting, but I believe that you will have to purchase the application in order to have this possibility. It's explained in the license agreement of the application. Download and install it then access the HELP menu. However, it's best to contact the developer of the application. He should provide additional details on how you can use his software.

It appears that the user downloaded the SedLog software but is unable to find the executable file.
